Patients Accounts: Personal accounts for adult patients who wish to be tested. LabDash will generate a QR Code for each patient and this QR Code can be scanned by a representative at a collection site to assign you to your test sample.

If receiving your collection kit directly, you may link your test kit to your account through the Collect Sample screen. Through your patient portal you can see when the lab has received your test kit. When the lab uploads your result, you receive a notification to log in and check your result in LabDash. From there you can download a PDF report of your test as needed.

Dependent Accounts: To register a dependent, first create the guardian's patient account. When logged in you may add a dependent to your account and track their test as well.

Provider Accounts are used by healthcare groups that help to facilitate patient testing. With a Provider account you can request testing materials from labs, facilitate specimen collection, report results, and manage patient health information.

Common examples of Providers: Public Health Departments, Hospitals, Congregate living facilities, Student Health, and Sports Medicine.

Sponsor Accounts are used by groups that wish to arrange batch testing for surveillance purposes, without access to patient data. As a Sponsor, you will have your patient group register their own Patient accounts. The Patient, Provider, or Sponsor (with external authorization) performs the specimen data collection. When the lab uploads results for a sufficient quantity of your patient group, you may view a fully de-identified quantity of positives within a weekly collection group.

Common examples of Sponsors: Employers testing their employees, academic institutions, and other community testing programs.

Lab Accounts are used by laboratory testing facilities to distribute testing materials, assist with data collection, accession received samples, upload results, generate testing reports, and submit billing. With a Lab account, you are able to manage the entire testing process from kit provisioning through collection, reporting, and analytics.
